Calamus Outfitters has two beautiful lodges that can accommodate approximately 20 people each as well as four rustic cabins that can accommodate up to 6 people each. The Ranch Retreat is a guest house located on the edge of the North Loup River Valley. Wagner Bunkhouse and Cabins are family owned and operated. You get the adventure and rustic feel of the Nebraska country with many of the amenities and comforts of home. Some of the amenities include full kitchens, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, two or three bedrooms plus hide-a-beds, bathrooms, grills, some dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. The linens and towels are provided so you can enjoy a totally relaxing time.

Starr's Wildlife Inn is a great little family-owned and operated Inn located in Taylor along Highways 183 and 91. The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills. We are a mere ten minutes from the Calamus River and Calamus Lake (west end) which offers tanking, tubing, boating, and beaching. Bootleg Brewers is our neighbor to the south, only a 20-minute drive. This is a birders paradise! Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution.
