Welcome to our Calendar of Events! We hope to see you enjoying one of our events and spending time here in Loup County!

May - September

Beginning May 18

The Loup County Museum will be open on the first and third Sunday of the month for the summer and fall, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. It will be open for additional hours during the Loup County Fair.

June

June 26

Wild Horse Ministries will be at the Taylor Rodeo Arena on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. We invite you to join us to watch Paul Dailey train a wild horse to be ridden in about an hour while relating the training to God based on trust, faith, obedience, and love.

July

July 21 - Ice Cream Social

Join us for ice cream and an evening of history and mystery! Meet at the Log Cabin Museum at 7:00 p.m. The Congregational Church will also be open to visitors to see the unique items the Historical Society has been accumulating in the Congregational Church. The evening will include opening the lock box......

July 30 - Barrel Racing 

6:00 p.m @ the Taylor Junior Rodeo Arena

August

August 7 - 10 - Loup County 'Worlds' Fair

Fun for the entire family:  Kid's Games, Parades, Livestock Shows, Junior Rodeo, Exhibits & More!!

             LIFE IN A SMALL TOWN

August 10 - Taylor Junior Rodeo

10:00 a.m. @ the Taylor Junior Rodeo Arena. Watch young athletes from all over compete in Junior Rodeo events.

10:30 a.m. PeeWee Events for 1 1/2-year-olds - 5-year-olds start in the Pee Wee Pen.

September

September 27 - 29 - Junk Jaunt

NEBRASKA’S JUNK JAUNT® takes place in central Nebraska along two of Nebraska’s most beautiful Scenic Byways, The Sandhills Journey Byway and the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway. The Byways form the basic “looping route” of the JUNK JAUNT®. The "loop" includes Taylor which sits at the Junction of Highways 91 & 183. There are plenty of treasures to find in Loup County so be sure and stop on your 'junking' journey!

October 12 - Family Fall Fun Night 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Taylor Village Park and Community Center. Bring your family for a fun night of games, wagon rides, fellowship, and fun.

December 7 - Taylor's Annual Holiday Extravaganza

Loup County Event Center  and Loup County Community Center

10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Enjoy browsing and shopping with creative crafters for gift ideas or something for yourself!
